Camden Green Summit > 17/07/2010
Camden Council’s Green Summit is on Saturday 17th July from 10am to 3.30pm at Parliament Hill School, Highgate Road, NW5 IRL. The twin aims of the event are to develop an overall vision for the Council’s engagement with the community on green issues and to think about how Camden as a borough can achieve a 40% reduction in carbon emissions by 2020. Transition Belsize are showing James Cameron’s eco sci fi epic Avatar, upstairs at the Sir Richard Steele pub in Haverstock Hill on Wednesday 14 July as their last eco film offering before the summer break.
Transition Primrose Hill activities > 10/07/2010
If you live in or near Primrose Hill and you have an artistic streak in you, then you’d be very welcome to help Transition Primrose Hill repaint the iron panels and part of the brick wall along King Henry's Road backing on the railway. They are planning to create a 'teaching wall' about the commonly found plants and trees on Primrose Hill. If you’d like to be involved, then email Doro Marden at

Camden Green Drinks > 07/07/2010
Please join eco-minded folk from all over Camden at Camden Green Drinks on Wednesday 5th May from 8pm upstairs at the Sir Richard Steele pub on Haverstock Hill, just up from Chalk Farm tube station. The pub is now stocked up with eco beer, cider and wine so we really hope to see you all there!
