Camden Green Drinks, Open Mike and Swap shop
Come and join eco-minded folk from all over Camden for a drink and a natter about greening Camden and the world! And if you've got an inspiring or moving song to sing, then don't be shy! At Camden Green Drinks this Wednesday Camden Friends of the Earth Youth will be running a clothing swap shop so please bring something you no longer want but which you think others might be able to wear. Thames Towpath Ride
Camden Cycling Campaign are organising a Thames Towpath Ride this Sunday 10 April. Meet outside Hampstead Old Town Hall, Haverstock Hill, NW3 4QP, at 10.45am for an 11am start. It's about 35 miles with lunch and tea stops. Ring James Brander 7267 3585 for more details.

Camden Cycling Campaign Veloteer Inspection Ride
There's a Camden Cycling Campaign Veloteer Inspection Ride on Saturday 16 April which will look at useful cycling routes and possible improvements in the Camden Town area. Meet at 11am outside the Honest Sausage on the Broad Walk in Regent's Park. The ride will finish in the same place with lunch at about 12.30. Contact Jean Dollimore.

London Green Fair
The London Green Fair (formerly the Camden Green Fair) is a two day event in Regent's Park on 4/5 June offering a mix of environmental campaigns, entertainment, food and fun. It's still free, still organised by a team of dedicated volunteers and still involves hundreds of campaign and community groups in its delivery. Any organisation, group or individual wanting to get involved should visit the London Green Fair website.

Rock the Boat! - an evening of comedy, live bands and DJs
Camden Greenpeace are holding an evening of comedy, live bands and DJs called "Rock the Boat" to raise money for a new Rainbow Warrior because the current Greenpeace ship is worn out. "Rock the Boat" is Friday 6 May, at the World's End pub in Finsbury Park. You can buy tickets here. Feel free to dress up as a pirate, an octopus, a mermaid or anything sea-related!

Towards Sustainable Transport - talk
HiCAN and the Highgate Society are jointly hosting a talk by Stephen Joseph, Director of the Campaign for Better Transport, called "Towards Sustainable Transport". Stephen will set out the challenges, both global and local, and some practical ways to cut traffic and reduce the need to travel. Centre for Alternative Technology visit
Camden Friends of the Earth are organising a three day visit to the Centre for Alternative Technology in west Wales. It will cost around £180 for three nights accommodation, transport and food, maybe less if enough people go.
